Originally Published May 24, 2018Take a tour of the first phase of the new San Pedro Creek Culture Park in Downtown San Antonio! San Pedro Creek has gotten an incredible makeover and it includes inviting linear park with walkways, benches, murals and other art work, surrounded by lush landscaping. The first half mile opened Saturday, May 5th, from the flood tunnel inlet at North Santa Rosa Street to Houston Street. Evenutally, the park will be 2.2 miles. This first phase opening was timed to be a part of San Antonio's 300th Birthday Celebration! As we get right into the swing of things this summer, the San Antonio housing market continues to outpace last year. May showed an eight percent increase in home sales over last year for a total of 3,326 homes sold, according to the Multiple Listing Service Report from the San Antonio Board of REALTORS®(SABOR), which reports on all areas in and around San Antonio. The average and median prices both experienced a five percent increase over last year with the average price rising to $270,324, and the median price increasing to $231,900.
