Northeast San Antonio Garden Home Community-Bulverde Gardens If northeast San Antonio and garden-style homes are something you would consider buying then Bulverde Gardens is a community you should review. Bulverde Gardens is almost one mile north of Loop 1604 on the west side Bulverde Road. Bulverde Road has been improved from a two-lane, always congested bottleneck into a multilane smooth flowing thoroughfare. I will admit that during rush hours don't plan on an easy exit going north on Bulverde Road since there is no  stop light to allow easy access into the northbound lane. Can't have everything.
