SA2020's goal is to make everyone aware of all that Downtown San Antonio has to offer and one of the things that is great right now is the renovation of some of the older neighborhoods in the area.   River North:  This is a hot spot of new apartments, restaurants and nightspots looking toward the professionals. The Pearl, one time brewery, has turned into a mixed use community with rentals units, offices and upscale restaurants and cocktail bars.  The neighborhood hosts events (ie. concerts and a weekly farmers market to name a few).  Some of the housing options include apartments as well as the Restoration of historic neighborhoods such as Government Hill and Tobin Hill.  The Boehm Team has personally sold two homes in the Government Hill area that had been restored and were completely...

Tower of the Americas in San Antonio Texas The Tower of the Americas is a 750 foot observation tower and restaurant that was originally built in 1968. It was the theme structure of the 1968 World's Fair, HemisFair '68. According to Wikipedia, it was the tallest observation tower in the US from 1968 until 1996. (Las Vegas Stratosphere Tower is now the tallest observation tower in the US.) The tower is located in downtown San Antonio's HemisFair Park. Check the tower's website for hours of operation of the restaurant and observation deck. There is also a gift shop in the base of the tower. There are several fountains in the area. A morning float on the San Antonio Riverwalk with semi permanent residents, the Duck Family. The Riverwalk has recently been extended to allow for a longer path or walking opportunity.   The Riverwalk is one of the most recognizable natural attractions the city has to offer. The San Antonio River was one of the key reasons early missionaries setlled along the river and established s series of mission. With the very dry climate and little rain, water was a prized resource. Need help finding your way in San Antonio, call me, 210-394-2269.
