Delaire Landing is a Gated Waterfront Community located in the Torresdale section of NE Philadelphia. There are eight different condo sections plus an apartment community inside. Shared by all of the residents is a clubhouse with a small gym and a free library a meeting room and many activities. There are two pools overlooking the Delaware River. One is heated the other is a lap pool there are chairs and tables with umbrellas beautiful potted plants add to the tropical decor in the warm weather. With the rising costs of gas, the warm summer season makes living here even more desirable. Let's talk about Delaire Landing a gated waterfront community. What a wonderful place to live. Properties here are not staying on the market long. People question, "What is the Value? Once one of the best kept secrets in the city of Philadelphia is now well known. There are different styles of condos to meet different needs and tastes. There are also apartments within this community for those not sure if they are ready  or want the responsibility to to own. These apartments have a waiting list, some units waiting up to five years. Forget your bags when you shop? Yes you will need to bring cloth shopping bags when you go food shopping in Philadelphia as it is against the law for stores to use plastic bags. When you look at all the liter around the City you see particles or masses of plastic bags hanging about .In order to fight and manage  the liter all about the city no more plastic bags in the City of Philadelphia.When I went shopping I did remember to bring to bags. I purchased more food than expected and they had awesome candles so the bags would be too  heavy. They did offer very nice bags for .33 cents made of non woven polypropylene which are  re-useable and does hold quite a bit of food. Glad I purchased them.  Let's see what's happening in Delaire Landings Gated Waterfront Condo Community. Once again someone ran into the resident's gate and repairs were done in record speedy time. Halloween landscaping was done in Delaire Landing looked beautiful, colorful, and festive Four Seasons did a beautiful job  The annual flea market was held outdoors the year. It was different than the other years but enjoyed by many residents as they were so happy to see each other and socialize.   Delaire Landing Community continues to be a very desirable place to live in. Let us take a look at what is going on in the Delaire Landing Gated Community. Condos  are in high demand in this development . No sooner are they listed for sale than are they going under contract. There is one unit on the first floor that has gone under contact three times. The problem? My assumption is the appraisal but is not my place to say. Taking into consideration the Pandemic residents have adjusted fairly well .They do miss the Club House and the social events that Delaire Landing offer under normal circumstances.  We are very fortunate one of the residents have put together some outdoor events with some excellent results. Recently I rented property to one of my clients. I was happy to help them. It was a beautiful unit in the development    I showed them the pool on the river.  I explained to them the community and all the amenities. We had done a whole tour of the community and walked the grounds. It is a lovely place especially the time of day we were there with the boats sailing by as we walked to the deck. We discussed all the wonderful trips that were planned in the community. They asked me how much do we need to give you to hold the unit.
