  24th Annual Collector Car Show in Venice FL   My husband Andy and I attended the 24th Annual Collector Car Show last weekend at Centennial Park, historic downtown Venice FL. We had a lot of fun; met some friendly and nice collectors and their wonderful well kept antique vehicles made in 1900 to the present.         The event was organized by the Venice, FL Region AACA. President is Mr. Gary Felker.  Vice President is Mr. George Burger. There were 217 vehicles registered for show, and awards were given in 40 classes.  All car show proceeds benefit annual scholarships for Venice High School Students.      AACA Best Of Show winner was Mr. Seth Holloway and his beautiful 1961 Corvette. A steady drop in property inventory for sale, combined with a stable, sales demand in the Venice/Englewood real estate market, is pointing toward normal, healthy property appreciation in the coming months. An analysis of sales, prices and inventory figures reflects a market in recovery, led by a declining pool of available properties on the market. The inventory of available properties for sale has been dropping for the past nine months, and hit another decade-low figure of 2,451 in August 2011. Sales during the past 10 months have averaged about 400 every month, and exceeded over 500 two times.  As a likely result of consumer demand and dropping inventory, the median sale price for single family homes and condos has recovered from the lows reached in January 2011, when both categories ... 09/24/2011

During our last sales meeting Coldwell Banker real estate agents shared with others what they were working on with all the Realtors in our office.  A few of the Short Sale and Foreclosure Agents who routinely list Venice Florida Foreclosure properties for asset managers recently attended a Florida Foreclosure Conference and shared with us valuable real estate market information.  It has been talked about that we were to expected in the last quarter of 2011 to have a flood of Venice Foreclosures and Englewood Foreclosures released for resale to the public but it is not happened and is now expected for first quarter 2012.  One of the biggest reasons Florida Foreclosures are not being released in 2011 - it will affect the banks annual earnings.
