Well, I'm not paying because I earned my 500,000 points for a free account. Most of the comments I've seen are from people who have had more than enough points forever to not care about them. The problem here is that this serial poster jams up the blog roll. I don't see a mob mentality here at all.

Not to burst your bubble, but if you note, the majority of the AR Members with comments on this issue have in excess of 500,000 points, which means they are seasoned members who have paid their dues and understand proper etiquette in the Rain.

Greg Cremia I hope Bob Stewart takes into account that although the posts may be legitimate, bombarding the blog roll borders on spam.

I paid to be a Rainer and the reason I do not like it is it jams up the pages for everyone who wants to seek out, find or read new blogs. There is no advanatage to posting a 100 plus blogs all at once. It actually works against you. It also hurts every one else. If he is scheduling them, he should spread them out. Or even post them in the middle of the night then when he wont affect everyone else.

You've said this before & the idea is not about blocking posting it is WHEN it is being done. I've never seen robo posting from you & you are in the 'for' column I know.

It has to do with just clogging the whole system for pages & pages during regular posting times. Some of that stuff doesn't matter WHEN it gets done so do it in the middle of the night as a compromise.

I don't pay but that's because I have been here since the dawn of time so I know what the rules are & what I would consider a good internet player. It's not necessarily about BOMBARDMENT (Blitzkreig) - it's the equivalent of hitting people over the head.

I think we can all probably agree that this platform should be used with consideration and the recognition that we're sharing it with others. There's no excuse for the robospam posters, no matter the membership status.

Help me out with a little clarification. My suggestion has been to identify in the title if a post has comments enabled or disabled and allowing readers to block blogs who have no comment component. How does this effect you?

Everyone who uses the platform has paid and continues to pay in one form or another.    Paying with dollars is one thing.  Paying with time and content is quite another...  contributing  value to the entire community. 

There are thousands of places to post market reports.  There is only one real estate community like ActiveRain.  

Could this be a carry over from election results?  Just saying.... Relax....

It matters not that anyone pays or doesn't pay. The question is the purpose and it is also not about being banned, it's setting limits.

Greg Cremia - I'd say, we are a community and we all should have a certain discipline. We should care for other members, paid or free.

oh dear Greg - that last sentence is really fighting words - I don't pay because I have been a member since God was a pup - and I just think that anyone filling eight or ten pages of blogs on Saturday morning is thoughtless - I think everyone would be fine with him posting ten or fifteen posts in a day - but 150 or 200 seems excessive and blocks everyone else out 

Who pays and who does not has no bearing. Many have paid in the past and now earned a free membership. Others were grandfathered in. Dumping dozens of posts at one time is a direct reflection on the network for that time period. If I was new and considering joining I would get a totally wrong impression of what the site is all about. If every member did this practice we soon would have no readership because the collaboration would be lost in the blog rolls of listings.

I'm organizing a "#NotMyRoboPoster" rally next week.  I guess you won't be joining?  LOL!

I'm just not a fan of having 9 pages (or more) of blogs I can't comment on when I need the points.  It also buries my posts in a sea of crap.  Yes, I called his posts crap.  They're usually barely even enough text to get points and from what I've heard, not even his listings!  The ones that get me are the 20 word market blogs that look like some system shit them out.

I am not paying as I have worked this site for years and have been part of the reason it has grown.   Paying for it or not, those of us who do not pay anymore have paid our dues here.  There is also a fairness in this.  Besides, posting a few thins here and there will not get the results you want.

I am ok with anyone who uses this place well in an effort to make the phone ring.  Still have not noticed any of these prolific posts and would just ignore them if I did.

Also do not pay any attention to who is paying and who is not.

you're wrong.... polluting the system with 20 consecutive posts is outrageous.... and members who pay are complaining.... and rightfully so.

I have not noticed it.  I do know that most of us were paying at one time or another.  Once a point milestone is reached ... accounts are free. 

Bombarding the blog roll is much like monopolizing a conversation. It is just rude, in my opinion. 

Most of those that posted objections that I saw were old-timers.

I don't think you know what you're talking about actually

I do not complain and it does not bother me, since I usually read blog entries of followers/following. But I've seen a lot of upset Qs&As and agree that posting 100s of entries does look like overkill.

Why not to use ''schedule'' feature?! Isn't it more beneficial for a blogger? 

It's just never going to happen that they are banned or prohibited.  I'm not sure why people complain.  

Greg, OK, take a deep breath and write your Thanksgiving  post about gratitude!  I do find the guy mildly annoying, but on the days he posts, I just stick to the blog roll of the people I follow.

Not sure if that makes a difference or not.

Greg Cremia You are making a good point. Myself and many members paid in the beginning. Hopefully, many consecutive post generate business to blogger.

I must be missing something here.  Have not noticed the large amount of blogs inline, but then again not too much time to spend here.  

I didn't notice this, and it doesn't really matter to me. I don't have the time to see who's a paying member and who isn't. 

I'm sure Bob Stewart will handle the situation appropriately. Maybe you two could have a diplomatic discussion about the situation.
