Wouldn't surprise me that Google favors content from it's own networks.  Just make sure you aren't logged in when you run the Google search, it will put your G+ posts at the top of page 1, but the won't be there for the regular person.

I cannot isolate it to sending to G+ … because I have been posting more on my WP sites as well as G+ and yes, ranking are improved and my phone is ringing.

That's how Google is keeping G+ alive.  If it were not for the SEO, nobody would be there.

I have been doing it for years and the answer is yes... and if you are wondering if you are ranking or not ranking higher just check how many more spam comments you get on your website:)) the higher you rank the more Spam you get, Endre
