| I listed my mother's house in Laguna Niguel with The OC Coastal Group. In order to show the house, certain repairs and cosmetic changes had to be made. As I live in Hawaii, it would have been difficult for me to arrange and coordinate that. The OC Coastal Group stepped in and did a marvelous job. First, they arranged for the estate sale to clear out the furniture. As soon as that was over, the painters arrived. Even as painting was going on, the non-functioning spa was removed and the gardener went to work. A tentative buyer had been located and after the inspection, certain repairs had to be made. Again, The OC Coastal Group arranged competently and quickly to have them done. When the buyer's representative became difficult as to what would be repaired, The OC Coastal Group represented my interests admirably and escrow closed on time. I am firmly convinced that had it not been for The OC Coastal Group and their expertise, I would still be attempting to get everything done from afar to get the house sold. And, as an attorney who instructs others on the art of representation, I know that I was well represented throughout this process. Again, let me state that The OC Coastal Group did an exemplary job for me and I feel very lucky to have been in very competent hands. |

| I had a wonderful experience with Garry last year while looking for property in Laguna Niguel. During my first home-buying experience 12 years ago, I was with an agent who didn't remember my last name or even the properties in which I was interested from phone call to phone call. In addition, I was made to feel like I was the smallest fish in the pond due to my budget constraints. This time around, I wanted someone who would remember me and treat me as though I were his only client (even though I knew he had multiple other clients). Enter Garry. I never felt like a number to him and I never felt like his level of service was based upon his potential commission. | The sale of our house was not a "usual" type of sale in that my husband and I were relocated through our employers. Needless to say, this always involves a sufficient amount of paperwork to be handled and the realtor needs to work and communicate with the relocation company. We were very pleased in the way The OC Coastal Group handled all of these things in addition to creating a beautiful flyer for advertising our house, having multiple open houses and working with us on keeping us up to date once we moved to Texas on the pending progress of the sale of our house. | It was my first homebuying experience and I was a nervous wreck. Garry was able to calm my nerves and walked me thru the process step by step. He was always patient with me and my tons of questions. It was 2008 and the market was near the bottom. Garry told me that whatever place I chose to make sure that I would be happy there for at least 5-7 years because that's how long it will probably take the market to recover. | When my wife and I decided to relocate our family closer to my work, I began to search the internet for prospective locations and properties in Orange County. I chanced upon The OC Coastal Group's website and found it extremely helpful and informative. I eventually contacted Garry Loss to ask a few questions, and only after experiencing his willingness to be open and frank, with essentially no pressure placed on me, I decided to meet with him and view a few properties. I gave Garry very specific guidelines regarding types of properties, locations, personal needs, preferences, and pricing. Garry set up a personalized web page that included all the properties that were available on the market at that time that met our requirements. My wife and I met with Garry several times and viewed numerous properties. Eventually we believed we had the right property selected, but just to be sure we asked Garry to take us out for viewing one more time. Garry did not hesitate or try to pressure us by using the usual scare tactics that we have all experienced from realtors such as; "You might lose this other house if you don't put in an offer!". Instead he showed several other listings. It happened that the last house we viewed on this trip was the home we were looking for. Garry was very meticulous and was able to point out many things that helped us in deciding on a fair offer to purchase the house. We also had to sell our current home and The OC Coastal Group handled that sale for us to close concurrently with the purchase of our new home. Garry's experience in contract negotiation proved extremely beneficial when dealing with the other real estate agents. This real estate deal necessitated the sale of my home, the purchase of my new home and the sale of the home of the buyer purchasing my home. Had it not been for Garry and his staff's experience in negotiating, attention to detail, prompt response and availability, this transaction would have dragged on endlessly. Garry and his team relentlessly picked up the slack from the other realtors' lack of knowledge, process and experience to make this deal happen smoothly and concurrently. Since the purchase of our home I have not hesitated to refer friends or family to Garry. I consider him a reliable business confidant and a personal friend. He has called or stopped by for visits many times to help us adjust to our new surroundings and I continue to call on him for advice, directions, and just good conversation. | We happened upon The OC Coastal Group quite by accident as my wife and I were visiting Laguna Beach one weekend and were so taken by the overall charm that we decided to look into real estate. We Googled Laguna Beach Real Estate and The OC Coastal Group's website happened to come up... the first clue that our karmas were intended to intersect. With no advance notice and on a Sunday, to boot, Garry Loss took our call and immediately arranged for us to see four different properties. No doubt he gets a lot of "looky-loos" and probably thought we were more of the same. He may have been surprised when we decided to place an offer on the last property we saw which, over the following days he helped negotiate with wisdom and insight despite an adversarial realtor on the other side. He further protected our interests by organizing a very thorough home inspector whose prompt inspection yielded problems with the foundation. We then had to count on Garry to gracefully back us out of the escrow, in the process retrieving our good faith deposit intact. Again, given Garry's less than cooperative counterpart, this was no easy feat. By this time we had gotten to know Garry and his team fairly well and went out of our way to reassure him that we were fully committed to buying a property in Laguna. Having gotten to know us as well, Garry refined his showings to a few select properties that he thought would meet our criteria. Sure enough, one of them did. Once again using his cool perceptive and shrewd negotiating strategy, Garry closed the deal for us and we are absolutely thrilled as we felt that we have tapped into an under-valued asset thanks to Garry¹s knowledge of the market place and the respect incurred from the seller¹s realtor. Garry¹s services don¹t simply start with showings and end when the contract is signed. Once again he lined up a home inspection, turned us onto a whole construction crew and a handyman, sourced for us the various utility companies that we needed to connect with and in general just continues to give and give and give of his time and knowledge. Because of all of this, buying real estate in Laguna has been a very positive experience and for this we have only Garry, his associate Toni and the rest of The OC Coastal Group team to thank... a dynamic team who guided us, listened to us, protected our interests, and put us in prime position to strike when the timing was right. He made some recommendations regarding my house in order to get top dollar. My house was placed on the market and sold within 2 weeks and I got my asking price. Garry and his team handled everything!
