I also have a mortgage finance background and hold a current Mortgage Loan Officers license with Stratus Mortgage.  This allows me have a full understanding of the lending aspect of buying a home and to be sure that my clients are getting the best loan options for their unique circumstances.  Buying a home is quite possibly the largest investment a person ever makes so understanding the finance and lending aspect allows me to guide my clients to a lender that is progressive, fully understands the financial industry and will look out for the clients' best interests.
