In September 2021, once again a stunning 31 NW Coldwell Banker agents were eligible for the Million Dollar Club by listing, writing business or closing sales during the month of 1 Million or more! So proud of everyone's contribution! The Arboretum website’s header is Eat. Shop. Play. They are an outdoor shopping center located in Austin, Texas and is one of the area’s top places to check out! There are over 40 national local retailers and restaurants. I’m often asked if our market is slowing down or cooling off. Just like the majority of Austin, CANYON CREEK’S incline in home prices is not as steep as they were in the spring, but inventory is low, and homes are selling!Buyers have more options, and it feels like we are moving into a more seasonal cycle of the market, certainly not retreating. Buyers have more time to decide to make an offer rather than in hours like in the spring. We are now experiencing more truth in the market with new sold comparable prices justifying list price. Homes appraised closer to listing prices in the Third Quarter 2021. I read a post that Kathy Streib featured in in her “Ah-ha” moments by Grant Schneider entitled “You don’t need agents. US Expansion slows yet Austin and submarkets continue to outperform the region and the nation. I’m often asked if our market is slowing down or cooling off. It's turning out to be an exciting season already in College Football.  The Longhorns are headed to the SEC, and are breaking in a new head coach.The Aggies narrowly escaped their 2nd game of the season but are solidly in the Top 10 rankings. Growing up in Austin, my family has always cheered on the Longhorns. My sister and brother in-law both graduated from there, and I spent many many hours doing laps at the Lee and Joe Jamail Swim Center. However, swimming took me to Clemson University in SC and my wife graduated from A&M. It is hard to believe it has been nine years since Handsome Hudson was born! I still remember he waited to arrive until Geno and I came home from our Mediterranean vacation.
