Last week, I blogged about the New Years Day art walk in Addison, around the Addison Circle area. The art installations I covered in that post were part of the carefully planned route that our docent suggested we see. However, there were a few additional stops not on the original plan that we passed. Midway Meadows is a cozy neighborhood of single family residences in Addison, Texas, conveniently located about 14 miles north of downtown Dallas. This subdivision is west of Midway Road, off Beltway Road. Addison Texas Home Sales were up 52% in April 2013 over the same month last year with 177 homes selling this month! So far this year, overall home sales were at 531 homes sold, a 33% change from this time last year. New Addison Texas Real Estate listings changed 4% for the same period last year with 246 homes listed this month. So far this year, ovferall home listings underwent a 1% change with 841 homes listed. Current listings pending sale this month underwent a change of 26%, with 181 homes contracted. Addison Real Estate: Homes in Grand Addison subdivision. Contrary to popular belief, people DO live in Addison, Texas.  There are single family, zero lot homes in the Grand Addison subdivision, located south of Les Lacs Drive. There are two entrances into the community, Beau Park and Brookwood, off Les Lacs. MARKET UPDATE: Addison's Midway Meadows Subdivision, Single Family Homes  1/1/13 - 6/30/13 (The duplex homes in Midway Meadows are not included in this update.) There are currently two homes on the market in Midway Meadows, Addison, priced at $225,000 and $230,000. Theses homes are in the Addison Timbers HOA. There have been 9 sales in the neighborhood since January 1, 2013, ranging in price from $181,000 for a 1400 square foot, 2/2/2 zero lot home to $305,000 for an almost 3500 square foot foreclosure.  The average price per square foot of those 9 sales was $120.57/sq ft.
