On April 9, 2014 I joined a club that nobody wants to be a member of, the bereaved parents club.  During my daughter's cancer treatment I started following other local kids on Facebook that were in their own battles.  I drew a lot of my strength from the example these kids set, including my daughter Abby who was as relentless as they come.   One of these kids was a teenage boy named Tyler.  He was diagnosed with DIPG, an inoperable brain tumor a few months before Abby was diagnosed with her Leukemia.  You probably never heard of DIPG until you were introduced to Lauren Hill, the college basketball player that lost her battle earlier this year.
