Oh Dear God, I would rather DIE than Black Friday! I don't need anything and have an embarrassment of riches. This is the season of donations, for the duration!

I am right there with you.  No deals for me.  I cannot be tempted for a new anything. 

There are so many in need. I will be donating to my favorite charities. 

I'm embarrassed to say even Canada has now stooped to this new low of Black Friday after preventing it for most of our existence!   I can't imagine doing any shopping online or otherwise during this period.  We need for nothing and do not wish to contribute to this crass & vulgar practice.  Shop local all the way and support our neighbours businesses. 

I'm looking to thin things out.  Nothing entices me anymore.  A lot of hot items this season I predict will be stored in a closet somewhere around March or April.

My granddaughter had a friend stay overnight last night. They got up at 4 am to make it to the Black Friday event locally and take advantage of “specials”.

I find what I need on-line these days.

I am finishing my mini remodeling job in my master bath, and needed a new light bar, so got a 15% discount, which was nice.  

For the most part we don't participate in Black Friday.  I'm not going out for a new TV or anything else.

However, if an online site offers something we need for our dogs and cats, then we'll take advantage of the opportunity to save some $$$ on something we know we'll have to have. 

If it's a REALLY good deal and I need it I will buy it

I sorta looked but was not thrilled about any of the offers. Then I decided I wanted to spend my day better than staring at the computer.

 When I was a teenager I arrived a day early to get front row seats to The Rolling Stones.   Spent the night on the ground in front of the box office.

    But people arriving at midnight last night for "Black Friday"?  No, thank you.

No shopping needs for us today. I picked up some books at the library and stopped by CVS to pick up a prescription renewal for Chef Dolores.

It is a cold and very windy day for Maryland shoppers.

I doubt they have anything that I need out there in that shopping nightmare.

I never shop on Black Friday. I buy what I need when I need it. If a good deal comes into my email I might partake, but otherwise no way am I heading into the crowds. Have plenty to donate, however... doing a trip to Goodwill every couple of days it seems.

Usually, I am right there with you.  This year, we had our oven go out and then, Thanksgiving Day, our water heater sprang a leak.  We will be utilizing Black Friday this year. Ha!

I bought a few movies I hadn't seen yet, they were cheaper than going to the theater or renting on Amazon, plus they were part of a series (Bill & Ted, F9) and I found the John Wicks for $15.

Did take advantage to buy things for the business to improve my websites.  Some nice Lifetime Deals on software.  Looking at buying a couple more things still.  Sales go on for another few days or into December.

I couldn't resist but to peek over the fence and see what takes place on Black Friday. Didn't have interest in Walmart but I did think the next best place of mayhem would be HomeDepot. A spot of paint and white hard board on the list, maybe a 1 1/8 keyhole bit.
Zipped in. Found it. Zipped out. Very disappointed. Was hoping for a story to tell.
Well, there is this ...... 95 YO mom released from hospital this afternoon to be picked up at the emergency room entrance. When I arrived, there she was, abandoned, bundled in a wheel chair at the curb, no one in sight. The rest of the story got a bit ugly.

My wants and needs a small.  I would like a new Tesla at some point though.

Exactly.  So tired of hearing about this endlessly... and it's becoming a world wide consumer phenomenon which is kind of disturbing.

I haven't been into black friday in many years.  Don't like the crowds and I'm sure not getting up to go shopping at some ungodly hour in the wee hours!
