Money is just money. Wealth is just wealth.

Neither buys happiness or good health.

I imagine they are thankful they have it ... and thankful for how much more they will have.

Home is where the hearth is.

mega-wealthy people have the same things to be greatful for as everyone/anyone else.... their health, their families, their friends, careers, etc...

what they don't have is: worries about paying the rent, where their next meal is coming from, etc...

money can't buy happiness, but it sure can rent it.

Wealth doesn’t guaranty happiness. Some wealthy people have family, health, other issues. For example, I have some relatives in Los Angeles area that I am not associate with, they always involve in wrong cash business activities generate easy income, and always they are not happy and want more.

If thinking of wealth in monetary terms, money helps to buy a more comfortable life but it does not buy happiness and fulfillment. Those things have to come from within and there is wealth in giving of oneself to others.

There is far more to life than money. Doesn't matter how much money you have if you don't have family, love, your health or true friends. Everyone has problems doesn't matter who you are, money doesn't solve everything, yes it may help to make life easier in some ways but I would guess their life isn't perfect either.

I suppose it depends on what they value. You can be wealthy and still value your family, health, faith, etc. or you can value your wealth, power, position.

The difference between the MEGA wealthy who are happy and unhappy lies in one disapline.
That is the wisdom to use the POWER money brings.
We all have read of those lacking wisdom, hit the Power Ball, and some years later worse off than when it all started.

Way too much emphasis on wealth in this country. I always would marvel at my grandparents who were never wealthy. I think they were some of the happiest people I ever met. They had a roof over their heads and food on the table. That was all they needed. Sucess to them was family and friends, not notoriety.

But do they have everything is the real question?  Many of them probably have an emptiness and a yearning for something that we know nothing about.

Mega-wealthy people for the most part have given society far more than they received.  I'm sure they are thankful to be in a position to help society, workers, and the future of the nation and in some cases, the world.  I think of Elon Musk and how his willingness to fail has single handedly given us a healthier environment on earth and in space.

I feel, we all have similar blessing counts: good health, family well being, friends, good memories we share with loved ones, etc.

I am not interested in being mega rich. They miss out on the simple things in life. Meeting interesting people who live amazing lives but are not wealthy. I heard once that the working class people give more to help others. Plus not worrying about your fortune, you have more time to enjoy your life.
