Have heard requiring proof when traveling out-of-area or for people whose jobs are deemed essential but have not written any as of today. Only County residents are allowed to enter State and National Parks here now. Best to be prepared Andrew! Wishing the best for safe travel for US Border Patrol wife.

Had heard rumors that my seller who closed her house here in IL better not stop in Kentucky for anything. If she did, she'd have to produce paperwork & might have to stay there 14 days quarantine.

She made it thru ok without getting gas or anything on the way to Tennessee.

This is something I am not liking. I do not believe government should be restricting freedom of movement. BUT I can understand why the individual states like FL closing their borders to folks fleeing from high incident areas. I've done some heavy traveling in the past month, no letter needed. I'm sheltered-in-place in my vehicle, like a trucker would be. Just a ticket and ID is needed at the airport.

Yes, one could be told to "self quarantine" if arriving from a hot spot, regardless if one has "paperwork" or not.

I haven't heard of anyone having to have this, but I might not be in the know.  Are you saying she had to have one?  Good for her getting her house under contract and being able to be reunited with her family!

Have her bring job offer letter, type her own letter explaining where she sold and is renting moving to. Make a little folder with her listing agreement and whatever she has for his employment, put in glove compartment. I assume she wont be stopped. She needs to bring clorox wipes or make some for any hotel she stays in...

I have a relocation coming from CA. They put together a relo letter from their job, copy of the alta from home sale, copy of purchase contract on the new home here in NH. They also have a letter from their employer saying they are essential. All this in case they are stopped or asked. They left yesterday so awaiting updates how the trek is going.
