Not at all. It’s never mentioned in my social circles either. I don’t really hang around with Chicken Littles. We’ve seen dozens of epidemics and markets; were all still healthy and here.

Everyone here seems to be in agreement that the media is causing more harm then good. WIth only 3 people in the state of CA per say the odds are greater to get hit by lightning while picking up your powerball winnings. However i am using precaution and everyone i know is too. The media has caused the stock crash and once the fear comes becomes more rational, stocks will rise sharply again. 

No not at all. I think the media is starting the panic.

Not as yet... sellers who have a "real" reason to sell are ready to sell. For buyers, the lower interest rates are probably good news.

Jeff ~ So far this hasn't come up that I know of here in Northern VA.  We are dealing with such scarce inventory that just about everything in the world seems to get pushed aside other than an "Available Listing".

If any have concerns they haven't brought it to my attention.

So far, the coronavirus is only affecting our financial pockets, and my clients have not mentioned it.

The only people that are talking about it are real estate agents and of course, the news!

NO and I am working with a doctor right now . . . no mention . . . he asked how I was doing, I said fine as long as I don't see the stock market, he said oh yeah don't look at that. LOL 

"Now get me my deal!" 

The media is doing what the media does - manufacturing fear and panic, and to distract us from . . . what?

I'm not paranoid but this is real curious timing . . . 

With humor and also with downplay...we all must be cautious about the wide road of acceptance and stand with common sense reality. No drama!

I got a listing appointment from my website last week. And yes, the seller was concerned about prices dropping due to the virus. Got the listing. So now we'll see what happens!

It is a concern and I am having those "long term planning" discussions with my clients.

Since the UK is planning for a "worst case scenario" of 80% of the populace becoming infected, over 500,000 dead and turning Hyde Park into a giant cemetary... it does bear consideration.

Though since one property under construction has a high water table and there was once a well... it could be a good selling feature for Coronavirus preppers...

Not yet but it hasn't reached the East coast of Canada as of today. I am sure it will eventually.  However, much like the regular flu / cold season, wash your hands often, cough / sneeze into your elbow or cover your mouth & nose, if sick, stay the heck home. Did you know that the CDC recently announced that they estimate that so far this influenza season 32 million cases of influenza in the US, leading to over 310,000 hospitalizations, & causing 18,000 deaths. Flu vaccines, so far this season, have reduced doctors' visits by 45% overall. So go get your vaccine. https://www.cdc.gov/flu/weekly/index.htm The vast majority of Canadians get an annual flu vaccination ( and no it is not free for all. There are a lot of misconceptions regarding our Canadian health care system ) and the average annual rate of death from the flu across Canada is 3500 compared to over 30,000 in the US. 

I believe there is concern but it's genererally only mentioned in passing like "what about this weather" Jeff Dowler, CRS 

Not yet, but everyone should be concerned about the spread of Coronavirus.

For those who need to refinance, times are good. For the rest of us times are bad! 

Not really but got an email from a fellow agent that gave me some "tips":

1. Take a deep breath each morning and hold your breath for 10 seconds. If you can do that effortlessly, you are clear from the Corona virus.

2. Drink water every 15 minutes. That will will WASH them down through your esophagus and into the stomach. Once there, your stomach ACID will kill all the virus. If you don't drink enough water more regularly...the virus can enter your windpipes and into the LUNGS. That's very dangerous.

No and I haven't made it a part of my life yet.  I should be more aware.
