No... unless you consider the fact that I don't turn on my phone before 8am and turn it off at 7pm (unless I'm negotiating). In the middle of the day the phone is on and I answer it.

I've never turned my phone off..... I have family all around me and I want to be available if needed.... 

plus during the day, I continue to get business calls.... there are some who call me about listing and they know it will be Tammy who shows up....

As a managing broker, when I blocked off time, all hell broke loose! Whatever works for you. Timeblocking improved production, so call it what you will.

I don't need to Paul S. Henderson, REALTOR®, CRS as I am behind my desk at 7:00 am and I believe I'm the only person working because in 20 years I don't recollect a single incoming call before 8:00 and very few before 10:00 am.

If there is a project that needs my full attention - then yes absolutely no distractions for a certain period of time.

Each one must find what works for them and then work-it.....

I have a tendency to "block" lots of things.  For good reason and for absolutely no reason at all.  

I do not block time. What I do is complete those tasks at a time when interruptions are unlikely.

I definitely need more concentrated focus as I'm getting older, but I don't necessarily turn off the phone.

We do not. There is nothing more  aggravating to a prospect than an agent that does not answer the phone.

I didn't turn my phone off but I did (and still do) turn the sound off so it doesn't interrupt when I'm with people, in meetings, or on the golf course... or other situations where it would be disruptive.

I dont do that during the day. I really never turn off I used to turn it off at midnight but I gave that up!  It does sound like a good idea! 

No, but sometimes I do forget to turn the ringer on and that does help.

I keep my phone on, but try to avoid people when I really need to get something done.

Very tempting... More often I wish I didn't have to cook dinner that gets in the way, or something like that.

Never turn my phone off, my "blocked time" is early in the morning to start the day in a relaxed way. Once in the office, since I don't have a private room, just bought myself a laptop to avoid the bullpen chatter which I do belive will work wonders for me. Picking it up today, yay!

I was trained to do this.  I am not good at it however.  I can see where more work gets done because there is that time with no interruptions.

Phone is only on silent (no ring) when I am shut down for the day. It is never off during my working business hours. I can determine, in many cases, if the calls are spam calls and I do not answer them. 

That is usually my morning. From 7 to say 845am the phone doesnt ring, so i can get everything done i need to each morning

First thing in the morning and early afternoon.

I do that before everyone else starts their day or in the evening. By 8:30 am, the phone starts ringing and texts start flying. My clients are used to have me pick up or at least leave them an automated message that I will call them shortly.

You really want to get more done...Pay attention to how much you can get accomplished the Wed, Thursday, & Friday before you leave for vacation!

I never turn my phone off.  It's how I'd be reached in an emergency with my family.  However I can not answer a call if I am focused on something and the call isn't from someone I know I need to take and I would check if I had a voice mail (better safe than sorry if were to be an emergency) and then get back to my task at hand.  

I do if there is something that has a deadline or that I need to focus on completely but not on a regular basis.

My phone is always on. I don't respond to all calls, texts, emails if I have something more pressing to accomplish.
