I saw that, and I was so happy he was not injured to the point of not being able to get up.... he's champion....and to answer your question, I've fallen and gotten up stronger than ever....

I didn't see it so thanks for sharing, Kathleen --- the mark of a champion is the ability to get up and move on when stumbles occur.  

This is a worthy ponder win or lose...get back up. Get Up... GET UP.......

I am very appreciative of my bounce-back-ability.  I would hate to remain down and think it would take an awful lot of energy to do so.

He got lucky, it was a "good" fall.  Just have to keep going! It's not just for yourself, it's often for others too, like your family or in the case of an Olympic athlete, for your country.

Great concept to get through life... pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and keep going!

YES, I rebound pretty quickly. My old Broker told me its not how many times you fall down but how quick and how many times you get back up.

Kathleen- this is what separates the winners from the losers, I suppose.  We're all going to get knocked down at some point.  It's what we do next that counts.   I didn't see it...we were flipping around the channels all night. 

When I fall, I usually pick myself up quick and make short work of whatever made me fall.

I get right up.  It's dirty on the ground.

A successful person gets up one more time than he falls.  Not sure who said it first but it is good.

Such a great athelete AND what a perfect model for all of us. We all take a tumble now and then.

I trust me, my knees are bleeding and at times I'm not even running but crawling forward.

That is a true winner and why he is an Olympian. I have a pity party for about 2 seconds then quickly recover and move forward.

Kathleen, I am awed at the way these athletes can totally fall on their butts and get up and keep going.  This is what life is all about. And the great lesson is that Mo Farah won!  How cool is that?

I saw his Olympic Race and his wife was in the audience looking very nervous for him.  He's got a true God-given talent and deserved that Gold, as his quick reflexes helped him to rebound without really missing a step!  For me, each adventure in the Road of Life is a learning experience, some are painful and take time to recover from, while some are easier to rebound from.  I like to think that I can rise quickly and keep running, but know in reality each adventure is different Kathleen Daniels. 

Wow!! He is amazing. A true champion..as Susan Emo often comments..keep your eyes on your own paper and only worry about how you are doing. He did just that and won it!!
