As I know your hobby now, I can send you some movie tickets, a tip on a new yoga studio opening up, information about a great new hiking trail I just tried, a good new book that's a top seller...etc.
Guess what we can do with flowers? Practically anything. "Hey, I know you like orchids. I just went to the orchid show and thought you might enjoy this!" Or..."roses for your new promotion...(are they on your LinkedIn" ...
This little bit of information shows I care about learning about you. It's gives me a reason to reach out to you too. Clearly, you enjoyed giving me this information. Would your clients?
