Born & Raised in Honesdale, PA ,the County Seat of Wayne County, I graduated from Honesdale High School and then enrolled at Penn State University.  After graduating from Penn State with a Bachelors degree, I went on to live in Spain, Toronto & California before moving back to Honesdale to raise my family and join my Father, Paul Meagher Sr., in RE/MAX WAYNE the business he founded in 1993.   My Father and I believe that constant training and education in the real estate industry is essential to offering the best service to our customers and clients. In December 2009 our family purchased the RE/MAX BEST franchise located in Lake Ariel, PA.This real estate firm was founded by Bruce and Betty Covey in 1990 and has been providing exceptional Real Estate Services in the Lake Ariel, Hideout, Lake Wallenpaupack and Northeastern PA areas for 20 years. I am the acting Broker of Record and my wife, Heather is managing the office and working with Betty Covey as a sales team. This acquisition enhances our customer service in Northeastern Pennsylvania. We now have two locations and over 30 agents to serve you.

Real Estate Broker

Tim Meagher earned his Broker's License in 2009.  To earn a broker's license you must achieve 16 credits in College level Real Estate Education.  The education covers: Real Estate Marketing, Management, Ethics, Law, Finance, Investment, Construction and other electives.  You must also attain a certain level of Sales volume and pass two exams.  A real estate broker has proven their committment to the real estate industry and has the knowledge and training to aid in all facets of real estate.
