Susan Renteria has been a licensed Realtor for nearly a decade and has recently emerged as an industry leader in foreclosure avoidance practices. This expertise is due in part to her 25 years of experience in property management, real estate and transactional law. Susan's many years as a paralegal, the President of the Sequoia Paralegal Association, and a member of the Board of Directors for the State of California Paralegal's Association have provided her with the discipline, diligence and organizational skills necessary to successfully negotiate with large lending institutions on behalf of her clients.

Susan's experience as a foreclosure auctioneer at trustee sales sites in multiple Central California counties has also bestowed her with a unique understanding of the foreclosure and trustee sale process that has helped her clients purchase properties from lenders, servicers & investors with more efficiency and for more desirable terms. This virtually exclusive knowledge of the foreclosure auction process has also assisted her in preventing a large number of distressed homeowners from losing their homes to foreclosure or otherwise.

Due to Ms. Renteria's increased success in facilitating short-sale transactions for numerous clients, she now acts as an instructor for Keller Williams Realty to train real estate agents in Short-Sale Presentations, the Short-Sale Process and Managing Short-Sale Files/Negotiations. Additionally, Susan has sat on many Foreclosure Avoidance Panels and presented at various Short-Sale Roundtables to further educate both the public and real estate agents about distressed property issues.
