Before you ask, it's pronounced "Margo!" After a rewarding career in the nonprofit sector, I wanted to give back to the community in a different way. With a background in sales, marketing, negotiation and public relations, real estate seemed a natural fit. And I was right!

I thoroughly enjoy assisting buyers, sellers and investors with properties in Laurel/Bowie/Upper Marlboro and surrounding communities. I've lived in Prince George's County for the past 25 years and have seen it grow into the thriving community it has become.

I specialize in helping first time home buyers find their perfect home. That is why I conduct monthly workshops to provide information about the real estate market, down payment assistance programs, challenges to new home owners and the home buying process.

Licensed in Maryland and the District of Columbia, I have been in the real estate industry since 2002 and joined Exit Right Realty in 2006. I'm proud to be a part of Exit Right Realty, a company with a reputation in the community as a hands-on, people-oriented business. Each year we sponsor Laurel Advocacy & Referral Services' annual 5K Turkey Trot which helps provide food to needy and homeless families. Additionally, a portion of every real estate transaction is donated to Habitat for Humanity to help build homes. Coming from the nonprofit sector, these things are important to me.

In addition to my busy real estate business, I am on the board of a nonprofit agency that provides services to military families as well as one that provides a myriad of services to homeless people. I enjoy giving back and community is important to me. On a rare day off, if I'm not volunteering at a homeless shelter or working at hospice, you will find me meandering through a museum or browsing in a bookstore. Recently I've gotten into gardening and am absolutely thrilled to see how plants sprout and grow. My "green thumb" is definitely a work in progress but I'm having lots of fun and isn't that what it's all about?
