A Team of Keller Williams Realty Agents Launch Central NJ's First Bus Tour for Buyers and Investors Marlboro, NJ (June, 2008) On June 21, 2008, a team of real estate agents from Keller Williams Realty West Monmouth will launch House Hunters Caravan©, the first Saturday bus tour in Central New Jersey created for buyers and investors interested in purchasing the area's growing number of short sale and foreclosure properties. The caravan will deliver a bus-load of interested and qualified buyers and investors directly to the doorsteps of homeowners seeking relief from their mortgages and rising interest rates. Spanning the gamut of fixer-uppers to newer construction homes, House Hunters Caravan© will be making stops at 5-10 properties in a different towns during each caravan in its first weeks of operation, starting with homes located near Keller Williams Realty West Monmouth's headquarters in Manalapan and Marlboro. Other scheduled caravans include towns throughout Middlesex, Monmouth and Ocean Counties. "We are bringing pre-screened buyers to all listings that are short-sale and foreclosure homes," she emphasized. "I cannot image any Realtor® with a distress listing turning down the opportunity of having a group of qualified buyers dropped off at the front door of their listed homes. New Jersey reported 13,104 foreclosure filings in the first quarter of 2008, a 66 percent increase from the first quarter of 2007, and up nearly 34 percent from the previous quarter, according to the latest RealtyTrac® U.S. Foreclosure Market Report. RealtyTrac® also reported New Jersey had the 16th highest state foreclosure rate in the country during the first quarter of this year with 1 in every 265 households receiving a foreclosure filing.
