Get to Know Dee Copley
I was relocated to the Rogue Valley in 1982 after living in Portland for 12 years and growing up in Eugene, Oregon for 18. OOPs, now you can do the math to find out my real age. I am actually proud of all 59 years of my life. I was an investor during the late 70's/early 80's in real estate rentals and multifamily projects. I share a lot of experience in remodeling with my contractor spouse; did several Old Portland neighborhood renovations. After losing almost everything in 1982, I moved here to discover one of the most delightful areas of the state. I raised a family, finished college, and became a licensed broker. I have watched the area grow as well as my real estate holdings: subdivisions and developing rural home sites became my passion. Mostly I have helped others increase their real estate wealth: from first time buyers to savvy investors and land developers.
Certifications
I use the double degree in Art and Psychology that I received from SOU in 1996 every day in this business. I have several other designations obtained through additional education; ASP (Accredited Staging Professional) which I offer to folks whose homes I have been hired to sell, ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative) which really helped me become in tune with buyers' needs, and the GRI (Graduate of Realestate Institute) which is like grad school for brokers and sets us apart from the masses. In 2009 I attained CDPE (Certified Distressed Property Expert) Designation. In addition, I am a member of Womens Council of Realtors, and have been a volunteer on the Habitat for Humanity board of directors.
