Get to Know Anne Joyner

Anne launched her real estate career with an extensive background in marketing.  Prior to going into real estate, she worked  for an international direct marketing corporation, Frank W. Cawood & Associates, Inc.  She worked in print and television media, and was quickly promoted to Director of Television Media, overseeing the writing and production of television ads, purchasing network and cable air time, and then most importantly, analyzing the results.  When Anne went into real estate in 1988, she was able to implement her acquired expertise and negotiating skills into her real estate business.  This gave her an edge over the competition and moved her into the forefront of the real estate industry.  For over seventeen years, Anne has worked full time to build a strong client base through good ethics and a sincere ongoing commitment.  In 1992, she went to work for ReMax.  Today, she continues with ReMax Around Atlanta Results in Peachtree City because of the magnitude of services and the excellent support system it provides it’s agents, brokers, and their respective clients worldwide.

Anne is an Atlanta native and grew up in the City of Decatur on Atlanta’s eastside.  She attended Decatur High School, The University of Georgia, and Georgia State University.  In 1972 she was married on Lake Peachtree in Peachtree City, Georgia.  Three years later she moved her young family moved to this area in Fayette County.  It appealed to them for many reasons: easy accessibility to Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, quick access to Interstate-85, excellent public schools, little crime, plus all the family and community benefits!  Peachtree City was voted by CNN Money Magazine in 2005 as the eighth best place to live in the United States because of its wonderful quality of life.  Anne and her husband have been married for over thirty-four years and still reside in Fayette County.  Because of Anne’s vested years, she is most knowledgeable about Atlanta as a whole, but especially its southern crescent!

Throughout Anne's career she has been involved in several industry-related asociations, often receiving awards and recognitions for her achievements and dedication.  She has been a member of the National Association of Realtors.  Locally, she is a long standing member of the Fayette County Board of Realtors where she has obtained the coveted Phoenix status in the Million Dollar Club.  She has received the National Association of Home Builders Million Dollar Circle Bronze Award and the ReMax Executive Club Award.

Anne attends Peachtree City United Methodist Church and enjoys: cooking, decorating, antiquing, gardening, music, and travel.  In recent years she has become a advocate for the elderly by working with hospitals, visiting nurses, physicians, and care giving agencies.  Anne has helped raised health-care funds and awareness to  benefit the Children's Miracle Network.  Together, she and her husband help support Noah's Ark, a charitable organization in Atlanta that provides a home to abused, unwanted and orphaned children and animals.   Anne, also contributes to the Disabled Veterans of present and past wars.
