According to a release on Tuesday, the King County Assessor’s office mailed the residential property owners in Beaux Arts and Downtown Bellevue their individual property values. The property values based on the release state that the property values “generally increased” by 22.6%.   The King County Assessor’s Office does an evaluation on properties annually, and physically inspects each property once every six years. The Downtown Bellevue and Beaux Arts area was last inspected in 2012. “Continuing the 2013 trend, property values are increasing across King County as we emerge from the Great Recession,” said Assessor Lloyd Hara.   To find out the market value of your Downtown Bellevue Home, order a free neighborhood market snapshot today. As the students settle in to their "new" routines, it seems like now would a great opportunity to take that ‪#‎now‬ moment to reflect on our big ‪#‎LaborDay‬ weekend. A neighbor's American flag in Spokane, flapping in the wind. My weekend went a little like this, and be prepared to hold on to your caps, as it was a whirlwind event! It started off normal, with me attending to my usual Saturday chores. Then my husband calls me to say that he has to go to Spokane, and that his parents need help immediately with their deck. Without even thinking twice, I tell him that the girls and I would love to go with! I just took my fun filled last weekend before school started and condensed it into one full on day of shopping for school supplies! We had to make sure we had all the ‪#‎BTS‬ clothes, and...

West Bellevue’s real estate inventory growing This Week: The median list price this week in West Bellevue is $1,999,990 is down from  last week’s $2,088,000.  The Market Action Index  (MAI see chart below) has been trending down lately, while inventory and days-on-market are climbing.  The trends imply a weakening market.  Supply and Demand The  West Bellevue real estate market has been cooling off a bit in recent weeks, as more homes are available and demand is less.  We’re already seeing prices move lower as a result.  Expect this trend to continue especially if the index falls to the Buyer’s zone.   Watch fro a persistent up-tern in Market Action Index to signal prices rising again.  Price Again this week we see a downward notch for prices in west Bellevue.  We continue to pull b...

Car repairs are expensive. However, as Benjamin Franklin once said, “an ounce of prevention is worth a pound ofcure.” Take care of your car from the beginning, and it’ll run for a long time. Here are some tips: Follow the manufacturer’s maintenance schedule. Somewhere in the mass of paperwork and booklets you received when you bought your car is a maintenance schedule. It will tell you when to change your oil and when to replace other parts of your engine. Check your fluids and tire pressure. Once a month or so, take a minute to open up the hood and check our fluids, including the oil, power steering fluid, etc. With the exception of the oil, you can see how much fluid you have with just a look at their respective reservoirs. When you hear a noise, check it out. Hear a squealing sound w...

It was time for me to renew my ActiveRain maker account for this account. Yes I do have another ActiveRain account for my other real estate license in the State of Florida as I am a licensed real estate managing broker in the State of Washington and a licensed broker in the State of Florida. They are equivalent. By the way if you are a Seattle home owner looking to buy a second home in Clearwater Beach, Florida... let me know. My team in Clearwater, Florida will help you find your vacation home in Clearwater Beach which is a lovely place to spend during the cold Seattle winters.   Earlier today I called to renew my account. Of course the telephone line at Market Leader which takes the incoming calls had a bit of a wait but they offer an option to leave your call back number and they wil...

August:  Bearish signs for West Bellevue’s real estate market  This Week: The median list price this week in West Bellevue is $2,088,000 is down from  last week’s $2,193,000.  The Market Action Index  (MAI see chart below) has been trending down lately, while days-on-market is climbing, providing mostly bearish signs for the market.  Supply and Demand The  West Bellevue real estate market has been cooling off consistently for several weeks, as more homes are available and demand is less.  We have begun to see prices move lower as a result.   If the MAI falls into a Buyer’s zone, it is likely that prices continue their downward trend until we see some turnaround in the Market Action Index.  Price Again this week we see a downward notch for prices in west Bellevue.  We continue to ...
