Friday, October 19, 2007 the Battlefield High School Bobcats had their homecoming parade and game.  The Bobcats played Osbourne High School, from Manassas Virginia.  These are two participant in the Senior Homecoming Court.  (my son Reid is on the left)  The Senior class, "Class of 2008" is the first class in Battlefield, to complete 4 years.  Battlefield opened it's doors 4 years ago, when these seniors arrived as Freshmen, these students will have the distinction of being the first graduating class that started as Freshmen.  Battlefield is a wonderful school, it is the center for technology, a speciatly program, the robotics clusb has won many awards and is one of the best in the nation... 10/21/2007

NEW DESIGNS IN TOWN HOMES IN PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTYI found a great new community with town homes designed for all ages.  The barrier to selling town homes to anyone over 50 has been the steps, and steps, and steps.  The designs builders have used for the past ten years have been the "3 levels built on a slab".  I understand why builders went to these designs.  No excavating means they save a lot of money in construction costs.  But, there are just . . . . Just too many steps. I have never liked these designs.  They require just too many steps.  Steps to get in.  Steps to get out.
