Glen Burnie, MD Home Sold in Less than a WeekIn September I got a call to list a home in Glen Burnie.  The seller was being transferred to Texas with a national company and his wife was 9 months pregnant.  The day the sign post was installed in the yard she delivered a healthy baby boy.House Lens came out and took the pictures and a very nice virtual tour.  And, in less than a week after it was listed in the multiple list, we received an offer.  An earnest negotiation followed and finally all parties agreed on a price.  The road from contract to settlement was not without it's obstacles.  The home inspection required a few repairs to be made and those were arranged with local service providers.  The appraisal was completed and home did appraise.I am still getting calls from buyers who a... 11/08/2015

This is a question a client of mine asked. This young couple purchased a nice, home in the Tanyard Springs neighborhood in Glen Burnie.  Fortunately for them, their newer townhome is in a very sought after, popular neighborhood of new homes and has enjoyed considerable appreciation. Many residents there that have the "entry level" 2 bedroom townhomes are now selling and moving to larger homes.  The question I received is: “I'm trying to understand why I'm losing over 60% of the profit. Cruisin' Classic Cars in Glen Burnie, MD One of our favorite things to do on a Saturday night when the nice weather is head down to Glen Burnie to Marley Station Mall and cruise through the classic cars.  Both Skip and I like old things, (don't say it... I know you're thinking it!!) - old houses, old cars.  And, I think my youngest son, Liam, is developing a similar appreciation for the Classics too!!
