Rates were slightly positive the beginning of the week tied to the weaker than expected data. Industrial production fell 0.1% and capacity utilization printed at 78.9. Traders expected a 0.2% production increase and utilization at 79.3. Producer prices rose 0.2% in October and the core value, which excludes volatile food and energy costs, rose 0.4%. The other evening, I had the opportunity to do some team building. We started off with a game of Dodge-ball and then moved onto a less punishing game of kickball. Oy Vay! Dodge-ball was so much easier when I was 8'ish. I could bob & weave and avoid the hit. Now some 40 years later, I took some for the team. Ouch! I forgot the rules and how challenging it really is. Once I caught my breath and got into the rhythm of the game, I realized that what I could do was to feed the ball to our power throwers and do my best to not get hit. Our team won again & again and I realized that I had some skill after all. In kickball, those power players tried to hammer the ball and ended up fouling out. Newton Highlands is one of the thirteen villages of the City of Newton, Massachusets.  Like all the villages in Newton, Newton Highlands does not have exactly defined borders, but it rougly is equivalent to Zip Code 02461.  The village center shopping area is located at Lincoln and Walnut Streets.  A Post Office is located on Lincoln Street.  The Newton Highlands stop of the D Line of the MBTA Green Line is located at the intersection of Lincoln and Walnut Streets.  Also, MBTA bus # 59, which goes between Needham Junction and Watertown passes through Newton Highlands.  Newton Highland abuts Route 9 and is not far from the Route 9 exit of I-95/Route 128.
