We had a great time with two of our kids coming to visit us for about ten days from Boerne and College Station Texas. Nestor's oldest son is in college and his youngest daughter is a senior in high school this fall.  We went to the beach, went on a tour of our famous Palm Beach Atlantic University, had fun swimming in our pool and talking. Tirzah, our daughter who is going to Palm Beach Atlantic University had set up a tour for Christopher at the campus in West Palm Beach.  Our little guy loves his siblings and we don't get to see the ones that live in Texas very often. But here is a great photo of Nestor with his kids:) and another one of two of our daughters with out little guy.

How are you celebrating Independence Day this year? Palm Beach county has some great fireworks attractions. Our favorite has always been 4th on Flagler in Downtown West Palm Beach. The City closes off Flagler Drive along the Intracoastal for a great celebration capped off by a tremendous fireworks display. Our little secret is that we head over to the Palm Beach side and walk out onto the Lake Trail. We end up located a couple hundred yards from the fireworks barge and some years it seems as if they are showering right down upon us. Other good viewpoints are from the two bridges and if you are adventerous enough to drop your boat in the water there is an area for boats to anchor up for the show. Roger Dean Stadium at Abacoa in Jupiter also has a popular fireworks display. For a list of ...

De-Staging a Home in Palm Beach County- The Good, The Bad & The Ugh-ly!   Today I'll be DeStaging a condo that sold in about 5 weeks.  We talk so much about Staging a Vacant home to help get it sold but we forget that for every Staging... there is a DeStaging! So I'd like to tell you about the Good, the Bad and the Ugh-ly of DeStaging. The Good-- Needless to say, the Good of DeStaging means that the property has sold... our Sellers can get on with their lives and move into their new home.  They no longer have to make sure their house is in model home condition when they leave for work. And, Buyers have found the home they've been looking for! Families can begin to make many new memories as they settle into their new homes. Testimonial: Michelle Gibson Wellington Florida REALTOR® In this tough economic climate we have struggled to find "good" tenants for our property. Michelle made the latest adventure easy to deal with and very successful.  I can not say enough good things about Michelle, excellent communications, great marketing, diligent in her follow up and lastly a pleasure to deal with. In the course of marketing our property Michelle provided insight into local competition, tenant expectations and improving curb appeal. We will definitely ask for her help the next time, she is "Amazing." Chuck

For those that don't know, Sunfest is going on in West Palm Beach. Great place to take the family for entertainment and a great place to visit by the Intracoastal waterway  in downtown west palm Beach. Great concerts going on for those that like life music.  Went last night and enjoyed a great Prince Royce (Latin) Concert.   Prices for admission are very reasonable. Adults are $34 and children under 5 are free. Today is the last day and some of the featured bands today are: Memphis Soul Reviue ( R&B) Jeff Beck  (Rock) Preservation Hall Jazz Band  (Jazz) Joel DeSilva and  the Midnight Howl (Blues)   Would love to go again today but  I work that I am commited to do.

West Palm Beach waterfront is home to Florida’s largest music and art festival, SunFest. Jupiter, Palm Beach Gardens, North Palm Beach, Boca Raton and other Palm Beach County communities come together this weekend in downtown West Palm Beach to enjoy live music, entertainment and art exhibits. SunFest is fun for the entire family and has a positive impact on the Palm Beach County market. This year, spectators will enjoy famous musical talents such as Jason Mraz, Gregg Allman, Ziggy Marley and CeeLo Green. In addition, well-known bands such as Earth, Wind and Fire, Sublime with Rome, Cherry Poppin’ Daddies, Toad the Wet Sproket and Styx will take stage on Flagler Drive. With the shimmering Intracoastal Waterway as backdrop, the soulful sounds, good food and icy beverages make for a memo...
