Northside Seafood in Tarpon Springs Florida has the best fresh seafood around! This is my favorite place to go on the weekend and get a pound or two of fresh shrimp! I come home and clean them and then pop them into the pan and sautee in olive oil! Add some sliced tomatoes, feta cheese and a few black olives and you have the best possible brunch! Served with tea and fresh Greek bread and the weekend can truly begin!!! This is something that takes very little time to prepare and is food fit for the gods!! Northside Seafood in Tarpon Springs Florida also has a fantastic selection of fresh fish! The boats bring in the catch on the other side of the building and you know it is always FRESH!

Tarpon Springs Florida home sales have seen a lot of activity in the last 60 days! For example, while there are currently 417 single family homes on the market, there were 66 single family homes sold in that 2 month timeframe and there are another 82 single family homes waiting to close that have accepted contracts! That is GREAT news! In the category of townhomes, condos and villas during the last 2 months there were only 18 listings sold. There are currently 13 other listings that have accepted contracts and are awaiting final closing. These numbers may seem low, but then there are only 86 listings in this category currently on the market. There are indeed many more single family homes for sale in Tarpon Springs Florida and if you would like to see one, give me a call today so we can ...

Tarpon Springs Florida homes for sale includes a LONG list of homes since there are 417 single family homes currently on the market in Tarpon Springs! This Greek community that was founded on the spot where the Anclotte River meets the Gulf of Mexico looks like a little Venice, with all of it's canals and bridges. That means that the percentage of waterfront homes is much higher than many other waterfront communities. The price range for those 417 single family homes runs from a 6 bedroom, 8 bath pool home situated on 28 acres of land with a private tennis court and priced at $9,995,000 to a much more modest 3 bedroom, 1 bath home priced at only $34,000. Whatever your housing needs, give me a call today and let's begin the process of narrowing that list down for you!!! Tarpon Springs Fl...

Tarpon Springs is a neat little Greek community that sits on both the Anclotte River and the Gulf of Mexico! Along the Sponge Docks are dozens of adorable little shops that offer items that are made locally as well as a large selection of things you would find in Greece! This is one of my favorite places to take an early morning stroll and do some shopping before the tourists arrive. The shops are just opening up for the day and the streets are still quiet! That is my kind of shopping environment! Naturally, you can also purchase sponges in the shops since Tarpon Springs was originally founded as a sponge diving community! Plan on spending the day! There is so much to see in beautiful Tarpon Springs Florida!!!

Tarpon Springs Florida has many great restaurants and lounges to visit but one where you are sure to have a great time is Captain Jack's, located right on the Anclotte River off Alt 19 in Tarpon Springs. Actually, it is on the north side of the Anclotte River Bridge - really easy to find! If you are driving on Alt 19, it is on the northwest corner of the bridge! If you don't know directions, look for the great white shark out front! You really can't miss that! And if all else fails, look for the boat with Captain Jack himself in it next to his catch of the day!!!! Naturally, you could just look for the sign - but what fun would that be??? Tiki Bar waterfront seating awaits you at Captain Jack's!!! As the sign says, Happy Hour Monday thru Friday - see you there! Captain Jack's in Tarpon ...

Brooker Creek Preserve in Tarpon Springs Florida This weekend I hiked at Brooker Creek Preserve in Tarpon Springs Florida. Brooker Creek Preserve was established in 1992 by the Pinellas County Board of County Commissioners for the conservation, protection, and restoration of its native natural resources.    Brooker Creek Preserve has approximately 8,700 acres and is the largest natural area in Pinellas County.  It consists primarily of forested wetlands and pine flatwoods.  Brooker Creek Preserve provides both a refuge for native flora and fauna as well as an opportunity for residents and visitors to explore the natural beauty of Florida as seen in these recent pictures:         Be careful and be aware of water moccasins which are capable of delivering a painful and potentially fatal bi...

Tarpon Springs Florida is a fascinating Greek town built right on the Anclotte River and the Gulf of Mexico. There are so many bayous and inlets intersecting throughout Tarpon Springs that it makes waterfront home ownership a real possibility! Tarpon Springs has numerous parks and a fantastic beach that is on an island in the Gulf of Mexico! To get to the beach you have to go to Fred Howard Park and drive to the end of the causeway, which is where the beach is located. As if all of that waterfront property was not enough, Tarpon Springs has one of the most beautiful Greek Orthodox Cathedrals in the country, Sponge Docks along the waterfront and more Greek restaurants than probably any place else outside of actually traveling to Greece!!! Give me a call today to see some of the wonderful...

Tarpon Springs Florida Sponge Docks are known all over the world! Tarpon Springs is the one place in Florida where you can walk into almost any store or restaurant and speak Greek!!! It is a Greek community right here in Pinellas County! Located north of Clearwater, it is also a wonderful place to live!!! In 1887 the sponge industry started in Tarpon Springs. Greek sponge divers were brought over here and by 1905 there were over 500 Greek sponge divers living in Tarpon Springs. Ever since that time the Greek community in Tarpon Springs has increased. There are wonderful shops in Tarpon Springs where you can purchase clothing and a wide assortment of gifts that were made in Greece! Greek music can be heard on the streets and in the restaurants!
