“Man’s Best Friend” When my husband and I were grocery shopping at Wal-Mart, we met this woman and her best friend - service dogs. I got permission from her to take their photograph and share with you. Her best friends are dogs serving their owner.     Many service dogs are highly trained to meet the needs of the people they serve, and add value to the life of their owners, helping them gain freedom and independence. Service dogs are also known as assistance dogs. There are three kinds of dog’s services: Guide dogs for the blind and visually impaired. Hearing dogs for the deaf and hard of hearing.
