I think that everyone that has heard of Cocoa Beach, Florida has heard of Ron Jon Surf Shop.  I marvel at ginormous (that would be giant and enormous all in one) it has become. Ron Jon has become the Worlds Most Famous Surf shop. The multi level store, which is open 24 hours a day,  is over 52,000 square feet. And sells beach wear, surfboards, bikinis, and anything else you can think of that you might need for a day at the beach. Ron Jon is a tourist attraction in and of itself. It has become so popular that over 2 million people from around the world visit it each year.  Now that's pretty amazing! Cocoa Florida main overview Cocoa Florida is really two areas, a beach town and a mainland town separated by yet a third town.  And geographic terminology can be somewhat confusing too. It was our first sunrise walk on the beach, while staying at a Cocoa Beach Condo.  The beach was not crowded, and only the sound of the waves and birds could be heard.  As we got closer to a small group of people, we discovered the Bird Man of Cocoa Beach! Opportunities Abound for Family Fun in Cocoa Beach    Ron Jon's Surf Shop, the Cocoa Beach Pier, fishing, boating and surfing can all be enjoyed in Cocoa Beach. But this morning, the main attraction was the Bird Man.  Small groups gathered and took photos as the morning came alive.  According to locals, he is out there every morning. This was truly an amazing sight! One with nature, there is something for everyone in Cocoa Beach Florida!    08/08/2008

What's it like to "sleep on it" in a Cocoa Beach Condo?  After much thinking and discussion, we decided to make a sacrifice and experience it for ourselves.  We have some friends who invested in two Cocoa Beach Condos recently that allow weekly rentals.  A quick phone call and the family was off to Cocoa Beach for a mini vacation. So we are here in Cocoa Beach on vacation and stopped to get ice cream yesterday for the kids. Anyone that lives in the Cocoa Beach area has to try this gourmet ice cream shop! First, the owners are awesome and so friendly. The ice cream is incredible! My kids had cotton candy and superman flavors and I (who lost 25 pounds on weight watchers) gave in when I saw Strawberry Shortcake ice cream. We're going back today. After I work out. How does the short sale of a Cocoa Beach, Florida condo end up at a Beach Boys concert?  What a roller coaster ride this short was! I helped a couple place an offer on a condo in Cocoa Beach, which was a short sale.  The offer was placed on February 19, 2008, and did not close until May 11, 2008.  I'll spare you the details, let's just say it was one of those nightmare deals.  I had the best buyers that anyone could ask for.  They knew what they wanted (even though another agent wanted them to have something else), they were patient, and a pleasure to work with.  Okay, What Do The  Beach Boys Have to do With a Cocoa Beach Condo Short Sale?
