As others mentioned, would need more detail to know how we can assist.  Most common issue is as Jeff mentioned, a file naming issue.  Some special characters aren't compatible with the file naming.  Try renaming the file and then uploading.

It worked for me earlier Irene D. Lockel  (actually twice today). Sometimes I get frustrated and later find out I was doing something wrong like uploading an incompatible file.

Sometimes it can be quirky. ARMS can probably help is you can perhaps clarify the issue. Could be a problem with your file name (are there special characters like -).

The photo uploader?

It still works, just not the drag and drop feature.  You can still browse toward the photos you want to upload.  Just make sure that you do not have any punctuation characters in the file names.

Have had no problems here!

Usually funky characters in the pic file name as ARMS said.

Hope you figured out the issue, and got your photo uploaded.
