Start by hitting the share button on the youtube video, copy the embed code to your clipboard.

Then in AR, hit the video button on the toolbar, insert the embed code into the box and it should load into your post.

If the video button gives you problems then you can also hit the html code button on your toolbar, <>, then insert the embed code in the proper place in your post.

It used to be quite a bit more complicated with embed codes and going into source code/HTML view, etc. Now it is very simple, you just need the video URL and you use the video button on the blogging toolbar.

You need to use the embedded code Cary Nemeroff  OR if you want to use a link then upload a picture and link the picture to your YouTube post. I do both regularly and used the imbedded command earlier today.

Looks like what Bob Crane suggested works.  I always use the embed code and then format center and add the code to prevent another video, not mine, from playing at the end.

In the past, I have inserted the word VIDEO in my post where I want the video to show up, then I go into the HTML code and replace the word VIDEO with the embed code or video information and voila.

Mouse over "Insert", then select "media", then "advanced"... "embed" the code of the video. You find that snippet under "share" option with any YouTube video. Copy between the brackets code on far left option beside all the social media options to share. Copy and paste the entire video code. Insert in "embed" and Voila.
