I didn't know this but it wouldn't make a difference to me.  I have an issue with gender being involved in careers.  She's not a female Coach but simply a Coach.  No female chefs but simply Chefs.  No female politician but simply politicians.  I think it sets us back to have gender identification determining qualifications.  I'm a Realtor NOT a female Realtor!

I did and it is quite the accomplishment! I hope that she is good at her job and continues to be a role model for women. It is notable because she is breaking ground for future women in football. I have no real skin in this game so I don't really care who wins, but it would be pretty cool for the 49ers to win with a woman on their coaching staff.
