They guessed Santa Cruz, CA which is right next door to Capitola, CA, where the picture was taken!

Here is the street view of the property

Capitola is a coastal town in Central California, at the northern tip of the Monterey Bay and while there are palm trees around, most of the trees are redwoods, cypress, eucalyptus and evergreens. So this landscape is pretty unique.

When I saw the photo I thought Arizona or New Mexico. Since it is not common for this area, I'm going to go with Daytona Beach, FL or a nearby coastal town such as New Smyrna, etc. I see the palm trees in the background and the open blue sky. The phone pole makes me think it is somewhere that doesn't have underground utilities.
