RF, wanting to keep their listing exclusive, perhaps not syndicate, an option made painfully difficult in todays sandbox ,would actually PROTECT the buyer and seller.

REMAX would have NONE of that.

Simple math: $250,000 home take 1% listing fee, no buyer fee. How the coop brokerage will benefit other brokerage.  Most agents here will not work or like to show homes. Show 50 homes get paid $1500..... $30/ home showing....

McDonald pays $18 an hour here now.

Buzz ~ It looks like one of the biggest cases of "Buyers Remorse" in real estate for Re/Max.  It initially sounded like a plan for more referral for it's agents, but in the end they realized it was all hat and no horse.
