I SHOULD do more tongue-biting!  Sometimes my comments are too blunt for some of my clients; other clients appreciate that.  But I try to be as mindful as possible not to remain calm and collected but still get my point across.

I rarely don't say what is on my mind.  At a MLS board of directors meeting one time another broker said "I love Tammy, she's not afraid to say what the rest of us are sitting her thinking in silence".  Sometimes things hurt feelings, but it's better to get it out and work it out than to remain silent.

Agreed, it's not 50/50 that's for sure. If someone is trying to 'hit me over the head' with their idea because theirs is the best & ONLY way to do it - that sets me off.

Well, now that I thinking about it 80/20 someone gets it.

I never really "let loose." Say the wrong thing and you can't take back those words... it's like pushing toothpaste back into a tube. I have no trouble being stoic and not speaking. I learned a long time ago that there is power in being so and I practice the skill regularly.

The older I get the less I hold my tongue. I used to hold my tongue too much when I was very young... that was to my detriment too.  I do choose my battles wisley but the one thing I will not do is have my speech regulated or feel bad for not being politically correct.  I speak my mind and I stand by even those I don't like or don't agree with.
