I don't. I put my picture on all my marketing material and signs and people recognize me from those. I've worn a name tag and it never did anything but ruin the look of my outfit.

I encourage this all the time within the brokerage.  I have heard stories of our agents making connections while in line at the grocery story wearing their name badge.  People start asking them about the local real estate market and before you know it, they are giving them their card and getting contact information back.

No darling, what I wear is no makeup, a bandanna and dark glasses. When not working, I'm not looking to work. The portal is closed. Call my office and make an appt and then my time is yours!
When I'm out and about for business, I don't need to wear a nametag or any kind of sign. I'm a draw. ;)
If you were a new agent coming to me with that question, my answer would be different. Although not by much.

I prefer to wear my name badge at networking meetings. It looks a lot better than wearing a stick on label they provide. I like others to wear theirs as it helps me remember their name when I see it in writing. I don't hear that well in crowded rooms so I have a difficult time hearing the person say what their name is. We have the magnetic kind so it doesn't put holes in our clothing. I find that women are more prone to wearing name tags vs. men.
