Of course and I wish the media would get back to journalism.

Now this is a new politics question! I would love for the debates to be less of a "three ring circus gone amuck" and get back to the real debates of the Kennedy and Reagan eras. Let's focus on policies and what they would do, not commenting about the small size of someone's hands.
Ask a question, give each person 2 minutes to say what they would do. Cut them off if they attack another candidate and when they reach the end of the timer.

I wish there was a Santa Claus, world peace and no hunger... and an informed American public that gave deep thought to all of the issues before choosing a candidate. The media is no longer the 5th estate, journalism has mostly morphed into sensationalism. I research what I can and back-check where possible. I trust actions more than words.

In this land of free speech and a free vote, ALL options should be presented to allow for comparison; apples to apples. A one sided, slanted or biased media does this country a DIS-service by highlighting one over the others. This is after all, the future of our country and on a smaller, but more important level, the future of each of our individual lives we are talking about.

If you are getting your information from major media, you are blind to reality or are the byproduct of those thinking reality shows are real.
Media is about marketing, about eyeballs, about ratings, about making money, NOT ABOUT EDUCATING THE PUBLIC. As long as citizens tune in, the current formula will become even more vitriol based.
Any media writer or publisher will confess their role is to create response, not deliver unbiased information. They are not required to believe what they present.
In all seriousness, have not two of them already eliminated themselves from your consideration? You will choose the one of the remaining two by who does not commit the fabricated unforgivable gaffe.
And who will determine what that is? The other side.
This is a remarkable and easy to see exhibition of three forces refusing to or fear the possibility of relinquishing power.
This life and death cat fight is not taking place on the puppeteers stage but in the manipulations of the puppet masters making others jump to the cause.
Absolutely fascinating and transparent. And we call it 'The land of the free and home of the brave." And in this land of free speech and open media, you can not find the voice of the adult in the room. Also fascinating.

The big problem is that the candidates are reflection of the American people. Nobody wants to be the grown up in the room at the moment. I also question whether the thinking that got us into this mess will be sufficient to get us out.

I am sure they are aware of this - and have some reasons for doing what they are doing....

Major media is extremely far left (that includes Fox News and WSJ, not just CBS and HuffPo and WaPo and NPR). Mainstream Media is owned and controlled by the One Percent, the Global Elite.
MSM will push their candidate, and their agenda.

The media is a reflection of the public attitude and will mirror what they think the people want to hear.

These debates should not be kept to prime time but to real time. What is real time? It isn't over until its over meaning that more time is mandatory. Secondly, a list of to the point, specific questions must be answered or the candidate is penalized. At no time should the people asking the questions be given any recognition. Thirdly, and most importantly, an unbreakable contract signed by everyone running for President (and other offices), who are making sworn promises that if elected, and they fail to make good, they step down willingly. Fourthly, anyone who repeats themselves deliberately, which is a form of hypnosis and programming be warned that they are being repetitious and to stop! Two warnings and you lose a turn to speak. Furthermore, all answers should be repeated back and a summary given at the end on where everyone stands on the topics.

Yes - I wish DT would get himself a speech coach or something. It's hard to find out who stands for what with all the yelling.

I do my own research on the candidates and don't rely on the media to guide me.
