When I was an active agent, it was by far my website and blogs.

My website brings in lots of business from my community pages. There are very valuable.
I don't have any other sites.
I have been been getting business from Face Book and Linkedin and my own Wordpress site Joe.
My own website were I blog about local items and real estate.
Facebook is outpacing Active Rain in terms of return on invested time for us.
FB and LinkedIn.
My own websites that get traffic from facebook ads, the conversion is quite nice.
It rains from many clouds. To suggest one site or activity be identified is to invite misdirection.
My activity on AR q&a and other forums is to test marketing ideas. What gets responses? What is on the mind of agents, buyers and sellers? What headlines or subject lines work? What words make them work better?
I use this information to seed the rain clouds through ads on FB, Google, email, direct response marketing and other campaigns. This information is useful for gaining exposure through mindful blogging.
These practices work without my relentless attention. I can control the flow my pressing the pedal to the metal.
Twitter and guest posts
Facebook works great for us. Debbie's personal page has brought us 4 closings and 2 listings this year so far.
My own regional websites, especially one but it's not cool to put a link here. I probably get about six or seven thousand unique visitors to it, especially during the summer. And all real estate links on the site goes to my corporate website.
No question about it...our own website brings the most business to us!
Joe Petrowsky actually I do not blog elsewhere. I do share AR market report blogs on Social Media - and that helps me.
I agree with Ron and Alexandra Seigel Linked In. However I caution, it's a hands on return. Linked In responds to my efforts, the minute I let off the gas, so does Linked In. It's a "pro-active return only" experience for me. But, mostly so is Active Rain. You gotta roll up them sleeves to get the returns.
LOL Print ads
Google+ without a doubt....
My own site brings me much more business. Then, probably LinkeIn or ViralContentBuzz.com.
There is not a site any longer that comes close. Before Trulia changed for the worst, it was a great site, now it is just a trickle.
Hmmm.. I can't say because I don't really know of another site that brings me as much return for my invested time.
