That is the problems with forcing or bribing people to give up a bit of their privacy.
When they are ready they will send their info.

I always give bogus info unless I might want to do business with the site. I don't want any more sales calls than I have to!
P.S. I absolutely HATE having to register on a website to get a download or info. Big problem with IT sites, not so much in real estate.

Interestingly enough, Debbie, the percentage of people I get with bogus names or partial names/initials is very small compared with the total. Same goes for the email addresses they leave and/or phone numbers. But phone numbers have more of chance of being bogus.

We do not require sign ups. We just have a spot that customers can voluntary contact us/sign up for appt. I don't think we get any bogus info but occasionally we get typos. Thankfully, most put in both their phone number and email so usually we can reach them.

Debbie - I haven't required any registration as of yet, but am considering developing some lead capture pages where I send info to prospects to see how that goes. I would imagine that I would get a lot of fake names and numbers, but I guess we will see.

I do require registration after viewing 3 homes, and often get bogus information, and I immediately delete them. NEXT.

Some bogus emails as well as bogus phone #s. I would say that on my Kunversion site it's less than 10%
