Sterling Asset and Equity Corp is a mortgage banker who has over 100 years of total experience.  We process, underwrite, and fund our own loans.  In addition, we have the ability to broker loans, if a institution has better rates or lower fees.  not a large company, but a very streamlined organization with several professionals.  This experience is shared in order to keep up to date with this everyday changing industry.  We strive to make each and every customer our next referral source.  This alone, makes us stand out from the competition.  We do not charge exhuberant fees, rates, etc.  We want repeat and referral business.  This reason alone, is why Sterling, and myself are still flourishing in this market.  Realtors, please do not hesitate to contact me for your referrals.  Each customer is entered into a database and sent some type of marketing material each and every month.  Should a customer contact us 2 or 3 years later, your name is entered as the referral source.  You are immediately contacted if your previous customer is selling, buying, etc. This is a service not offered by any other mortgage company.

In today's market, it is more important than ever for you, as a customer, to find someone who has the integrity, intelligence, and knowledge of the industry in order to guide you through the mortgage process.  One rule of thumb.....BANKS ARE NOT YOUR FRIEND!  Banks are too large and they can place you in a very precarious position by being irresponsible and informing you that "you are approved" when the information has not been reviewed by an underwriter.  Normally, after applying for a mortgage at a bank, it will take 2-3 weeks for an underwriter to review and either approve or deny your mortgage.  With normal 30 day contracts, this doesn't leave you much time to scramble for a new lender.  Banks may indicate great rates, but it's the old bait and switch once they review your information.  Working with a bank can be your worst mistake.Originally, I was a contractor in Illinois.  I did this for several years until moving to Florida.  I've bought, sold, mortgaged, closed, originated, and developed property.  My expertise within the mortgage industry is tenacity and getting the job done.  I've dealt with numerous customers types and mortgages:  Self Employed, Wage Earners, Trusts, Second Homes, Investments, Condos, Single Family, Jumbo, Conventional, FHA, FHA Rehab, Reverse, Note Swaps, Mortgage Trusts, etc.  If your purchasing a property in South Florida, I encourage you to contact me.  I tell you what you need to hear, not what you want to hear.
