I was born in Rome, Georgia in 1942. My education and work experience is in Law, Management and Real Estate. During most of my working career I have worked more than one job at a time.

Floyd County Govt. 1968-2004
During my 36 years with Floyd County Government, 34 of those years were spent with the Police Department. I served as Chief of Police for 22 years and as County Manager for 2 years. As Police Chief I supervised 84 employees and as County Manager I supervised in excess of 400 employees.
In 1978 I started a Real Estate business in Georgia. That business was later expanded to include Alabama and Florida. In the mid eighties I started a Real Estate School and we have helped hundreds of students obtain their real estate license. Our company supervises over 750 rental properties.
