Born in Texas, yet raised in the Rocky Mountains studying finance & economics at Utah State University. Originally moved to Jackson Hole to work as a hunting guide and carpenter. My interest in real estate took over and received my salesman's license in 1980. In 1983, I moved to San Antonio, TX to pursue a career in commercial real estate with Coldwell Banker Commercial Real Estate Services leasing industrial warehouse space and office service center space. In 1993, I returned to Jackson's Hole and began listing and selling resort real estate. I have been active in local leadership of the Teton Board of Realtors serving as president in 2000 and 2001, later as president of the Wyoming Association of Realtors in 2005. Locally, I served on the Town of Jackson Planning & Zoning Commission beginning in 1994 to October 2007, serving as chairman 3 different terms. In December 2005, I joined Real Estate of Jackson as their Responsible Broker. Unfortunately the debacle of 2006-09 took down the company. In 2010, I joined Contour Investment Properties as responsible broker, and appointed to the Wyoming Real Estate Commision serving until 2016, and 5 of those years as chairman. In 2020, I was elected to the Board of Directors of Lower Valley Energy, a member owned co-op providing electricity and natural gas to residents and businesses in Teton and Lincoln County, WY.
