St. George UT Trail System Growing Again Good news for all outdoor enthusiasts in St. George UT. They City Council will consider expanding the city’s popular system. Currently, there is over forty miles of paved trails and forty-two miles of natural trails that go all over the city. Many trails follow natural waterways that add beautiful scenery and are often used for recreation and exercise. Now, this talk of expansion is exciting for developers and those who love the great outdoors of Southern Utah. There are three bids up for the city council to approve today that include new expansions of the current system, adding new trailheads and there is a proposal up to allow engineers to add a new section to the trail near 1450 South.
