Ever seen Agents who promise $10,000 if you buy or sell with them. Here is how it works. This info is what is advertised by the company (CRI) that promotes the program. These agents are betting on you, the consumer, to be too stupid to follow directions and hope you will forget about deadlines and misplace the required paperwork. What a way to start a business relationship... The first Red Flag should be the fact that it takes 3 years to qualify for the $10,000. As you will read, the requirements are so specific that only a minuscule amount for people will ever qualify and that is exactly what the agent and CRI are betting on. And "full service" does not necessarily mean that clients get tthe best expertise available to them. It is true that some agents do disappear after the sign is in the front yard.I remember that I got agitated because there was a different opinion between limited service offered by this specific broker (known in town) and minimum service as required by the State (of Texas, at least).
