Newbern's Crowne Pointe Subdivision (real name is Crowne Point Estates) was started in 1998 by John and Bill Parks. For the first couple of years they struggled getting builders to buy and build on their lots. Today is a different story! Crowne Point is the premiere subdivision in Newbern where homes are not only holding their value in todays market but are continuing to go up in value. A week ago I carried a client(who works at Eaton 2 miles from Crowne Pointe) to this neighborhood since it was in his price range and close to work.
