Should I Sell My Home in Laguna Niguel or Rent It Out?   I have a home in Laguna Niguel and I can't decide if I should just sell it or rent it out. Help!   For many homeowners, renting out a home is simply not a viable option: they need to sell in order to raise the capital necessary to buy their next home. And owning two homes requires cash reserves. Consider, for example, that there may be periods in which you have no renter or when a tenant may skip one or two months rent. The mortgage payments still have to be paid.   Becoming a landlord is not for the faint of heart. What happens if the roof leaks and you’re away on vacation? There’s always the risk that a tenant could damage your property or cause problems that lead to an eviction.   On the other hand there are also excellent reas...

WD-40 was created in 1953, by three technicians at the San Diego Rocket Chemical Company. Its name comes fro m the project that was to find a 'Water Displacement' Compound. They were finally successful for a formulation, with their fortieth attempt, thus WD-40. The 'Convair Company' bought it in bulk to protect their atlas missile parts. Ken East (one of the original founders) says there is nothing in WD-40 that would hurt you.   WD-40 Uses: 1. Protects silver from tarnishing.2. Removes road tar and g...

A few funnies to get rid of The Monday Blues…Enjoy! Some guy bought a new fridge for his house. To get rid of his old fridge, he put it in his front yard and hung a sign on it saying: 'Free to good home. You want it, you take it.' For three days the fridge sat there without anyone looking twice. He eventually decided that people were too mistrustful of this deal. So he changed the sign to read: 'Fridge for sale $50.' The next day someone stole it! They walk among us! -------------------------------------      While looking at a house, my brother asked the real estate agent which direction was north because he didn't want the sun waking him up every morning. She asked, 'Does the sun rise in the north?' My brother explained that the sun rises in the east and has for sometime. She shook he...

Glass Beach – Fort Bragg, Mendocino, CA   This is a beach covered with sea glass that was created from years of dumping garbage into an area of coastline, near the northern part of the town. The pounding waves throughout the years have broken down and polished the glass.  It's a must see.  An annual Glass Festival is held annually on Memorial Day weekend.
